BUYING DRY STRONG BEAM

In construction, products with different moisture content are used. On this basis, the details are:
- • Natural moisture (after manufacturing the material was not subjected to the drying procedure)
- • Natural drying (the parts were subjected to passive drying under canopies, the drawbacks of the method include the lack of predictability of moisture content after drying)
- • Technical drying (the products were subjected to the procedure of active drying in special vacuum chambers, which guarantee the delivery of sawn timber to the required standards)
In construction it is recommended to use materials of natural or chamber drying. In this case, the properties of wood affect the scope of application: thus, the product of natural moisture is used in those situations where it is necessary to use the property of lumber to obtain “equilibrium moisture”.
Dry planed timber is suitable for the construction of residential premises and does not lose useful properties over time, while being completely environmentally friendly.
SAWN TIMBER
When sawing logs, parts with a rectangular section are called sawn (regular) timber. The details come out from under the saws with characteristic roughness on the edges, so they are gouged on special equipment to give a presentation and precise dimension. So we get a planed log, which is characterized by a smooth surface of the sides and exact correspondence to the established dimensions.
APPLICATION OF TIMBER WITH DIFFERENT SIZE OF CUT
The optimal size of the timber depends on its intended purpose.
200×200 mm. This type of sawn timber is suitable for the construction of residential buildings, because it guarantees the necessary strength and thermal insulation of the walls, and allows securely fixing on them hinged furniture (cabinets, shelves).
150×150 / 100×100 mm. Details of this size are used to build the walls of outbuildings and summer houses (wooden cottages and other buildings not designed for year-round use), as well as for the construction of internal walls and interior partitions.
50×50 / 40×40 mm. Details of this dimension are called bars and are used in different spheres:
- • Construction of wooden houses (roof, logs, roofing, part of the ceiling frame, curtains);
- • Repair and finishing works (skeletons for a heater with the possibility of subsequent sheathing, the construction of engineering communications, the construction of stairs);
- • Furniture production (frames of furniture, furniture for the garden or kitchens);
